The practice of militant Bikram yoga after many years brought a thirst for a deeper more inclusive experience. They say when the student is ready the teacher appears and Echo found her teacher, Ashtanga.
Ashtanga immediately fascinated echo, with its structured flow carried by breath. The process of ashtanga guided echo to further develop her practice further. After years of practice Echo opened up to the more spiritual side of yoga and found not only did it help her address past traumas, she was able to let go of things holding her back. “I learnt moving my body with awareness solved what thinking has struggled to address”.
Echo completed her hot yoga teacher training (200hr RYT) when she was living in Amsterdam a few years back, since then she has completed Yogasana (200hr RYT) Ashtanga (200hr RYT) and Yin (50hr RYT). Echo teaches various styles of yoga classes across the midlands and between yoga classes, she reads about yoga, chats nonstop about yoga and does a lot of yoga. Echo is also trained in Reiki Level 1 and Thai Yoga Massage.
Echo practise what she preaches, so expect to surprise yourself in her class. Her delivery is graceful and centred towards you feel inspired with a challenging yet rewarding practice.
Her keen eye regarding alignment and building strength will invite you to break through from any personal limitations, and with permission echo will adjust and encourage you to work alongside your breath to deepen your practice of yoga.
Expect a fun, thought-provoking and nourishing class.
