About Us

Yoga Studio in the City of Birmingham

At the studio we are rooted in the word Yoga which means union – joing parts of ourselves that often feel separate: body,mind, spirit and our connection to each other. A tradition that invites us to live in alignment from the inside out. Its about slowing down, listening deeply, finding what feels authentic and then bringing that into the world.

We focus on the physical aspect of the practice which is known as asana – These asanas are all linked together to form a class. Each class at the space all focus on strength, flexibility and breath awareness – We offer different practices and styles while the main goal is for the prcationer to leave feeling a sense of wholeness. The more we honour our inner world, the more conscious we are on how we move, speak and relate to others . Happiness is an inside job

Here at Yoga Sweat 2.0 we have a strong sense of community and we all have a responsibility towards each other. Everything we say and do not only effects us but those around us. Below are a few reminders so we can support this ever so growing community:



Community Attitude

• Respecting the space and those who share it.

• Maintaining a calm, positive, and inclusive environment.

• Refraining from entering the studio under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

• Showing kindness and respect toward all teachers, members, and casual workers.

• Verbal or physical abuse, harassment, or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated and you may be asked to leave.

• EMBRACE THE QUIET – Try to limit conversations inside the yoga room

• GET UNPLUGGED – Keep mobile phones and personal belongings in the changing rooms

• BE ON TIME – Please make sure you are in the space before the class starts. If you arrive late your space won’t be guaranteed

• STAY UNTIL THE END – Try to stay until the end. If you must leave early please let the teacher know.

• KEEP IT CLEAN – Return your mat and props to the correct area and leave your space rubbish free

“I went to the evening beginners class tonight with Ramen, I had always wanted to try yoga but was so worried and it was out of my comfort zone, but the moment I went in I felt so welcome! The lovely receptionist showed me around, and Ramen spoke to me about what to expect too. The room was very calming and relaxing and the atmosphere was pure. Everyone there too was very polite and friendly ! Although it made me realise how stiff and wobbly I am , I really enjoyed and and will be returning! ”
